Meet The Presenters:
Andrea Thermos,CPA,estate and trust tax specialist, Boulay
Andrea joined Boulay in 2012 and was promoted to manager in 2014. She specializes in trust, gift and estate tax compliance, planning for death, and post-death asset management and trust funding. Andrea provides audit defense for state and federal estate taxes, and she is responsible for the supervision and development of estate and trust tax staff. Prior to joining Boulay, Andrea worked for 11 years with other public accounting firms.
Jeremy R. Wells,senior vice president of Philanthropic Services, Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations
Jeremy R. Wells currently serves as senior vice president of Philanthropic Services at the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations, Minnesota’s largest community foundation. In this role, Jeremy serves as the chief fundraising and donor stewardship strategist. He also staffs the Foundations’ board development and governance committees. Jeremy has spent his entire career working in philanthropy. Prior to his work at the Foundations, he served as the chief development officer at both Augsburg University and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He holds both a master’s degree in philanthropy & development and his CFRE certification. In addition to his work, Jeremy serves on numerous local, regional and national boards. He was also selected as a 40 Under 40 recipient by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2018.
