(March 19, 2015) – Boulay, a leading Twin Cities accounting and consulting firm, recently hired former NFL player, Jon Melander, AIF®, CFP®, CIMA®, as a Senior Wealth Advisor. Melander joins the Boulay Financial Advisors team and brings with him 18 years of financial consulting experience.

A retired NFL offensive guard, Melander played a total of five seasons for the New England Patriots, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos. He also played college football from 1986 to 1989 at the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with an emphasis in finance from the Carlson School of Management.

In his free time, Melander enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids’ sporting events. He is also actively involved in the Financial Planning Association and the Goal Line Club, an athletic club that supports the University of Minnesota football program.
