(Minneapolis, June 16, 2015) – Scott Colby, CPA, was recently named a partner with Boulay, Minneapolis.
Colby has been with Boulay for over 13 years and is in the accounting advisory department. He is responsible for providing tax, audit, and accounting services to clients in a variety of industries, performing testing of internal controls, reviewing accounting processes, providing statistical analysis of detail, and income tax planning for both corporations and individuals. He also provides the following services: fraud interviews, executive level outsourcing, creation of payroll processing, and financial statement reviews.
Colby holds a B.S. in Accounting Information Systems from St. Cloud State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He has previously served as Treasurer and Financial Officer for the St. Paul Rugby Football Club.
Outside of work, Colby enjoys golfing, fishing, rugby, and traveling.
Colby is a 1997 graduate of Braham Area High School.
